Notes for Using Notifications with iOS Focus Mode: Focus Mode was a new feature as of iOS 15. It is similar to Do Not Disturb on prior versions of iOS, but much more powerful and flexible.
By default, notifications are NOT shown on the lock screen when in a Focus Mode. If you want to the notification to be displayed on the lock screen (still delivered silently), select iOS Settings app > Focus > (selected Focus) > Lock Screen > Show On Lock Screen > ON.
Another option is to add Alarmed and/or Errands to iOS Settings app > Focus > (selected Focus) > Apps. This will allow the notifications to break through the Focus and present visibly and with sound.
